Sr. General Accountant at FMC Technologies in Stephenville, TX

We are looking for an General Account who can join our team in Stephenville, Texas. This role will perform general accounting duties for multiple entities and multiple currencies in a services environment. Duties will be performed in timely manner by basic accounting knowledge, theories, practices, and accepted procedures as outlined by GAAP, the company's SOX processes, and Financial Standards Job Description Gathering and analyzing data from SAP or other sources including payroll, cash, customer invoices, vendor invoices, and other accruals Preparing and entering journal entries including intercompany items that could require customer/vendor account entries, payroll and related accruals, other liabilities, and cash Performing general ledger account reconciliations and appropriate adjustments Provide data and support to outside property tax consultants to ensure accurate and timely returns are filed and appropriately recorded in ledger Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting and payments for company's leases Other reporting and analysis as required to fully support the service entities and the company's financial reporting requirements Reviewing and analyzing services processes to ensure compliance with company's SOX and financial procedures while streamlining utilizing LEAN principles You are meant for this job if Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 5 years of Accounting experience in a face-paced environment Shared services experience preferred but not required. Experience working with multiple companies and multiple currencies is a plus Must be proficient with Microsoft Office- Intermediate Excel skills required. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
