Job Description
The Department of Health & Human Performance in the School of Kinesiology is recruiting a highly motivated individual who will bring strength to the department in teaching, scholarship, and service components. The MSAT is a 2-year academic program consisting 49 credit hours. The program will include two 12-student cohorts. A state-of-the-art classroom and lab facility have been dedicated to the program and there are numerous clinical sites available for student learning. In addition, a study abroad component is available to prepare the student to meet the needs of a global society.
Tarleton State University is a member of the Texas A&M University System. The campus is located in Stephenville, Texas, population 17,000, and is situated 65 miles southwest of Ft. Worth. A student population of 12,000 includes additional campuses located in Ft. Worth, Waco, and Midlothian.
Responsibilities:60% Teaching: Teach graduate and undergraduate Kinesiology courses; Develop, implement and review effective teaching/learning processes, incorporating appropriate methodology, technology and other tools; Remain current in discipline and update course content when appropriate to reflect current levels of student knowledge in the discipline; Develop a system for ongoing evaluation of both teaching and learning, including expectations of student competency and student learning outcomes; Work in partnership with immediate supervisor through a formal system of evaluation of instruction to identify strengths and weaknesses and identify professional development activities to improve student learning.
30% Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity: Demonstrate a record of ongoing research, scholarship or creative activity appropriate to your academic discipline; Engage in collaborative research activities with students and faculty.
10% Service: Assist with academic advising, primarily for undergraduate students; Maintain appropriate schedule of office hours for student access and inquiry; Participate in institutional service roles, such as but not limited to university, college, and department committees, club sponsorship, and student recruitment.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Earned doctorate from an accredited institution in athletic training or related field (ABD status may be considered as long as all degree requirements, including dissertation, defense of dissertation, and comprehensive examinations, have been successfully completed by time of appointment.).
BOC Certification.
Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers Licensure (eligible)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a CAATE accredited program
3 years of Athletic Training clinical experience
Demonstrated record of teaching, research, and service at the collegiate level
First Aid, CPR, AED instructor experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
